The Defendant and his girlfriend were involved in a disagreement. According to the police report, the victim claims that the Defendant struck her in the face several times and choked her around the neck. The report does not mention that the next door neighbors are the ones that called the police several hours after the incident occurred. Our client maintained his innocence and Darren Finebloom and David Haenel convinced the State Attorney that they could not prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt and the State Attorney declined the charges.
