2009 CF 011625 NC
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office arrested the Defendant for robbery with a firearm. The Defendant was alleged to have met with some friends to purchase oxycodone pills. As the parties were driving to pharmacies to get the prescriptions filled the victim alleged that the Defendant pulled a gun on him and his girlfriend and stole their pills. Darren Finebloom immediately began his investigation and interviewed the main witness to the case who denied there was any robbery or gun involved. This information was relayed to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office. The Office of the State Attorney declined to file charges.
